QUIRK

A remodeled vintage Seattle home and a small uphill cottage share a lot and exterior walkway access to the street. This Quirk walkway welcomes both families to their homes, makes a steep hill feel like an easy climb, and furnishes both homes with privacy in a small urban space. The walkway allows maximum area for native Seattle plants. The owner wanted a low-maintenance structure and the long life that concrete and masonry provide.
